Which contract am I on?

This article applies to customers who opened an account before 01/10/2024 and who have NOT — from that date onwards — changed their plan or purchased extensions by signing the new Contract with Financial Tool Extensions (hereinafter the "New Contract").

Since 2024, Qonto has been updating its plans to offer more value, and continues to do so: your plans are now updated to include even more features. Keep reading to find out what's changing and how to switch to Qonto's New Contract and new Plans.

What changes if I switch to the New Contract?

Depending on your Plan, you can benefit from:

• greater operational flexibility, including higher limits for different payment types;
• a real-time cash flow view with forecasts, scenarios, and VAT estimates, available from the Smart Plan onwards;
• new invoicing features, such as reusable invoices, quotes, and email templates;
• new expense and spend management features, such as subscription management and renewal alerts;
• and much more, providing a comprehensive financial operating layer that brings your core financial workflows together in one place.

In addition, you have access to three optional paid extensions: Automatic Invoicing, Project Tracking, Team Spend Controls (available with the Essential plan and above). For details on the features included in each extension, click here.

With the New Contract, you can also activate Account Remuneration (available from the Smart plan onwards) and earn up to 2.25% AER on your account balance, with a reward credited monthly, simply by making at least five eligible transactions of at least €1 each per month. Find out more here.

Basic Plan — price unchanged (€11/month or €108/year)

• Payments and banking services:
  • Virtual cards: 0 → 2

  • SEPA fee per additional transfer: €0.40 → €0.20
• Accounts Receivable now include:

Worth knowing: if you move from Basic to Smart, you gain greater control over your cash flow by forecasting your cash flow up to four years ahead, building different forecast scenarios, estimating your VAT in real time, and syncing your data with Google Sheets and Excel. Plus, if you're eligible, you can also activate Account Remuneration: it could help you offset the price of the new plan.

Smart Plan — price unchanged (€23/month or €228/year)

• Payments and services:

  • Team members: 2 → unlimited

  • Card, transfer and payment requests
  • Basic Manager role, who can have and pay with all card types, and who can be customized to access and pay from selected accounts, manage transactions, order cards or make transfers and review requests, request, approve, or deny reimbursements, upload and set up supplier invoices, invite members, and create and manage teams

Business Plan — price increase (€139/month or €1,308/year)

  • Team members: 10 → unlimited
• Cash flow management now includes:

⚠️ Note: The following features require an add-on in the new price line-up:

• Recurring invoices or Automated payment reminders are part of the Invoice Automation add-on offer.
• Advanced card settings, Advanced permissions and approval workflows, and the Advanced Manager role are part of the Team Spend Controls add-on offer (available from the Essential plan).

Do plan prices change?

For most plans, no. Exceptions are Essential, Business and Enterprise:

How can I switch to the New Contract?

You can make the change independently directly from your Qonto account in just a few clicks: Settings > Billing > Change plan

👆You will be asked to select the new Plan and sign the New Contract.

Alternatively, you can contact our customer care available 24/7 via in-app chat or phone, who will guide you in choosing the plan best suited to your needs.

⚠️ Note: When switching to the New Contract, you can freely choose any plan, including one with a lower price than your current one.

Do I need to change my plan?

No, you are not required to. You can stay on your current plan with no deadline and without anything changing in your account: your existing cards, IBANs, users and settings remain unchanged. Switching to the New Contract only happens if you decide to do so.

Please note that plans subscribed before 01/10/2024 may not include all the features available on Qonto: changing your plan allows you to access the most complete offering.

👉 The switch is permanent: once completed, it will not be possible to revert to the previous plan.
