The Certificato di attribuzione Partita IVA is an official document issued by the Italian Tax Authority (Agenzia delle Entrate) that certifies your VAT number registration.
Qonto requests this document when your business is registered but has not yet started operations, as part of the verification process required to activate your account. It applies to SRL, SRLS, and sole trader account types, and must be provided by the account Owner.
Why am I being asked for this document?
When your organization is identified as inactive, meaning it is officially registered but has not yet started its business activity, Qonto needs additional documentation to verify your business information before you can proceed.
The Certificato di attribuzione Partita IVA is a mandatory document in this context: you will not be able to complete the Contract Sign step until it has been successfully submitted and reviewed.
How do I download the certificate?
You can obtain your certificate by accessing your personal Tax Drawer (Cassetto Fiscale) on the official Agenzia delle Entrate website.
Follow these steps:
- Go to agenziaentrate.gov.it and log in to your Tax Drawer (Cassetto Fiscale) using your SPID, CIE, or CNS credentials
- Navigate to the Personal Data (Dati Anagrafici) section
- Locate the Certificato di attribuzione Partita IVA and download it as a PDF
⚠️ Qonto only accepts the PDF version downloaded directly from the official website. Photos, screenshots, and scans of paper copies are not accepted.
What happens after I submit the document?
Once uploaded, your document will be reviewed by the Qonto team as part of your business verification process.
You will be notified once the review is complete and you are cleared to move forward with the Contract Sign.
